I’ve never been a resolutions person. I usually move into a new year the same way I move through most seasons, by keeping things rolling and trusting that clarity will come with time. Recently, though, an unexpected pause shifted how I was thinking about intention. When my phone broke and I went six days without it, I became more aware of how often I reach for distraction, how rarely I slow down, and how much space opens up when I do.
That awareness has been sitting with me as a reminder that small adjustments can shape how we feel. They can also impact how we move through the world. At the same time, the 21Ninety team has been thinking deeply about how the start of a new year feels for our readers. It can be heavy with pressure to optimize, transform, and do more. Recharge and Reset was created as a counter to that energy. This new franchise is a 90 day journey rooted in sustainability rather than urgency. The focus is on building practices that support real life.
Each week, Recharge and Reset will offer actionable rituals across articles and social content. The goal is to help ground our 21Ninety readers emotionally, physically, and spiritually. From junk journaling and scrapbooking to leaf free meal prep, this series focuses on habits that feel accessible and meaningful. Along the way, readers will hear from the our team on how to embody rest, recovery, and personal renewal.
This is an invitation to move through the first 90 days of the year with more awareness, care, and intention, without the pressure to become someone else in the process. Join us on Instagram and TikTok to follow along the journey and learn more.
